Enterprise Business Development Manager

A connectivity and cloud solutions company is looking to recruit a highly driven Business Developer to join their Enterprise team targeting corporate businesses with a turnover of over £150m across the West and North West England. The purpose of this role is to execute new logo acquisitions by undertaking the full sales cycle to ultimately achieve and exceed revenue targets.

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record in solution sales within telecommunications, unified communications or hosting alongside a proactive approach to producing new logo business.

The role:

  • Sourcing new leads through various avenues to maintain a healthy pipeline
  • Understand and identify customer’s requirements by providing end to end business focused solutions
  • Target organisations within the enterprise arena and accelerate new business across the company’s portfolio
  • Create and develop short, medium- and long-term sales strategies
  • Execute win plans around major deals
  • Continually keep updated on the company’s product launches and maintain a strong technical and commercial understanding of the portfolio
  • Prospect to and build relationships with C Level Executives
  • Plan and host at industry events
  • Produce and deliver exceptional presentations to prospective clients
  • Proactively qualify sales opportunities
  • Be at the forefront of delivering RFP’S and tenders
  • Maintain and utilise market knowledge to aid closing new business

The candidate:

  • Have a strong ability to build rapport and gain client’s trust
  • To understand and review client’s needs to provide the necessary solutions
  • Extensive experience selling managed IT services
  • Experience in gaining new logo business
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Able to travel within assigned territory
  • Strong commercial awareness of the industry
  • A natural negotiator
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and one who can overcome objections
  • Experience and a good understanding around the full sales cycle
  • The ability to readily identity sales opportunities
  • Excellent presentation skills
