Customer Support Technician

If you are looking to start your technical career within the telecommunications industry the Customer Support Technician may be the perfect role for you. Our client is recruiting for someone who is customer service focused and is eager to learn areas such as: ordering, billing and provisioning.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full processing cycle for all new orders
  • Process orders for clients on line rental, hosted solutions, broadband and mobile
  • Project managing larger orders and installations
  • Proactively liaise with channel partners and customers on installations
  • Troubleshoot any issues and escalate them if required
  • Build relationships with all external parties and internal account managers to ensure a smooth process is provided
  • Continuously learn about new products and solutions

Experience:

  • Prior experience in a similar role desirable but not essential
  • Educated to degree level advantageous in IT
  • A keen interest to work within the telecommunications industry
  • A natural problem solver
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • Fantastic organisational skills
