Corporate Resources is actively looking recruiting for a Public Sector Account Manager to join a growing UK telecommunications provider. Our client is looking for a dynamic sales person to join their team to manage and grow accounts across the Midlands so experience working with public sector is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure you retain the existing portfolio’s business as well as sourcing new business opportunities within set accounts
  • Respond to existing customer queries quickly and efficiently to provide the highest level of customer service
  • Manage accounts within the public sector such as education and local government services
  • Consistently build a healthy sales pipeline through upselling, cross-selling and developing existing accounts
  • Attend regular client meetings to maintain strong relationships
  • Utilise strong negotiation skills to execute new contracts and payment terms
  • The ability to understand client’s requirements and ensure these are fulfilled

Experience

  • Experience selling into the public sector is essential to succeed in this role
  • A strong understanding of technologies around unified communications, IT managed services and cloud services
  • The ability to build strong, long term relationships with key stake holders as well as internal teams
  • An autonomous worker who is self-motivated to succeed
  • A natural sales person who is target driven and has a detailed understanding of the full sales cycle
  • Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills and is capable of leading regular client meetings
  • Full UK driving license
