A brand new Public Sector Account Manager role has become available to join a well established IT Services Provider based in London. Our client is looking for a dynamic sales person to join their team to manage and grow accounts across so experience working with public sector is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure you retain the existing portfolio’s business as well as sourcing new business opportunities within set accounts
- Respond to existing customer queries quickly and efficiently to provide the highest level of customer service
- Manage accounts within the public sector such as education and local government services
- Consistently build a healthy sales pipeline through upselling, cross-selling and developing existing accounts
- Attend regular client meetings to maintain strong relationships
- Utilise strong negotiation skills to execute new contracts and payment terms
- The ability to understand client’s requirements and ensure these are fulfilled
Experience
- Experience selling into the public sector is essential to succeed in this role
- A strong understanding of technologies around unified communications, IT managed services and cloud services
- The ability to build strong, long term relationships with key stake holders as well as internal teams
- An autonomous worker who is self-motivated to succeed
- A natural sales person who is target driven and has a detailed understanding of the full sales cycle
- Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills and is capable of leading regular client meetings
- Full UK driving license
