Corporate Resources is actively looking recruiting for a Public Sector Business Development Manager to join a well established IT Services Provider based in London. Our client is looking for a dynamic sales person to join their team to map and grow accounts across London & South East within the public sector.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure you retain the existing portfolio’s business as well as sourcing new business opportunities within set accounts
- Manage accounts within the public sector across the South East
- Consistently build a healthy sales pipeline through upselling, cross-selling and developing existing accounts
- Attend regular client meetings to generate and maintain strong relationships
- Utilise strong negotiation skills to execute new contracts and payment terms
- The ability to understand client’s requirements and ensure these are fulfilled
- Forecast monthly and quarterly sales
- Respond to existing customer queries quickly and efficiently to provide the highest level of customer service
- Produce quotations and lead RFP’s and RFI’s
- Develop win strategies and plans for major deals
Experience
- Experience in developing business within the public sector (ideally in healthcare)
- A strong understanding of technologies around unified communications, IT managed services and cloud services
- The ability to build strong, long term relationships with key stake holders as well as internal teams
- An autonomous worker who is self-motivated to succeed
- A natural sales person who is target driven and has a detailed understanding of the full sales cycle
- Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills and is capable of leading regular client meetings
- Proven and consistent sales track record
